World's finest!

Although it was in the more streamlined, stylized design, it kept most of the charm and maturity of Bruce Timm's various DC cartoons. Stitched together from several episodes of the Superman Animated series, it revolves around a green dragon statue stolen by the Joker in Gotham (made of a certain alien element that Lex Luthor would indefinitely pay any sum of money for) and Batman hot on his trail to the city which Superman gaurds. This leads to the first meeting and team-up of the two titans of justice, and the legendary clashing of style and butting of heads--humor definitely intact. If only they would make a World's Finest live action movie sometime in the future. For now, this will do. Batman still comes off as a vigilant, obsessing, pseudo psycho among the shiny, squeaky clean, skyscrapers in the future-forward Metropolis. It still proves that Joker cannot be tamed, and to make a deal with him is to make a deal with the devil. The coupling of Wayne Enterprises and LexCorp set a good mood for the escalating theme, and everyone in the film had their own foil. Excellent Children's movie

This is a great beginning peice for a new generation of DC fans. It's exciting and easy to follow. The characterization is true tolife, rather than larger than life. It has an excellent way of showing how 2 opposing beleifs can still work togeather to create a common good. Reccomend for all children. Girls especially.Lire l'avis complet...

DVD was in excellent condition upon reciept, was packaged as stated in directions. It plays well with no technical problems, picture is good and clear, sound is good and easy to hear. Awesome!

This movie, which is made of three episodes of the Superman Animated Series TV show, is completely awesome. The Superman and Batman Animated Series are really cool and bringing them together for this story is great. The story itself is well done and the animation is the same great quality of both the charcter's own series. I really suggest that if you haven't seen this before, get it! This "movie" appears by itself here amd also in the second volume of The Superman Animated Series. Either way you shouldn't be disappointed.Lire l'avis complet...
