Great Movie

To me this movie is a classic. There hasn't been one time when it was on TV and I didn't stop whatever I was doing to watch it. It is about a guy that goes back home for his 10 year high school reunion and finds most of his old friends to be the same as they were in school. Being home makes him question his own life and if he's with the right person. Sounds like a simple story but there is something about it that makes it great.
This movie always stirs up lots of emotion in me. I think it is very well done and the actors are great. It will make you think of high school and your old friends. Great movie. Out of print so if you want a copy you better find it on eBay. Trust me, I looked for years and finally got one here.

Used DVD, but in great shape!

I love this movie! Especially the cast. I can't say enough good things about it. After watching it on T.V. this past summer, I decided to buy a copy of my own. I found it especially refreshing to see the setting in a small town in Massachusetts in the winter time with plenty of ice and snow. It was very refreshing and relaxing when my temperatures outside were in the 100's!
I purchased a used copy of this movie because I could not find a new one at the moment and I wanted it right then! However, I'm very pleased with my used copy. No scratches or bad spots and I've watched at about 6 times!Lire l'avis complet...

Everyone's beautiful in this!

I'm bidding on it now and have seen it on cable several times. It's one of my favorites...great character development...a must see for me. Natalie Portman is great in this! Could be one of Matt Dillons best rolls. Timothy Hutton is better in this than anything else I've seen him in. In short, the cast is GREAT! Even minor characters remain in your brain when the movie is over. If you're into major action flicks...forget this...it's a thinking persons film, entertaining yet thought provoking.Lire l'avis complet...
