Amazing band with an amazing debut

Ok I was not really into Korn when they first came out. I liked the songs I heard but never really got invested. It wasn't until I saw the live version of Freak on A Leash with Amy Lee (the leader singer of my favorite band Evanescence) that I started getting interested. I then heard her cover of Thoughtless and loved it. So I started listening to more Korn and liked everything I heard. I figured why not start off and get the CDs. So I came on eBay and found them all for great prices. I will say that I am more fond of their later works but this is an awesome beginning and allows you to see the growth they have made over the years. Altogether great band and a great starting point. Best cd

This was one of my favorite CDs in high school and I hadn’t listened to it in over 15 years, so decided to order me a new one since mine is lost and this is still an excellent cd! Korns best by far! Very intense and raw!!!!Lire l'avis complet...

Korn CD

The music is an interesting and unusual fusion of funk, rap and metal that really seems to break new ground. The vocals are tortured and emotional, angry, and thought provoking. Sometimes playful, sometimes tortured, usually angry, the lyrics explore some previously taboo topics, e.g. gay culture, domestic abuse, which are at times creepy, but always meaningful and heartfelt.

Similar to Disturbed in their anger, yet musically very unique, using dissonance, distortion, and plain angry yelling to add power to the tortured lyrics over an extremely tight rhythmic pulse from the drummer and bassist. The Lead melodies of guitar and vocals are equally twisted and frenzied in a way that's quite stunning. Highly recommended for any fan of high energy hard rock.Lire l'avis complet...

Great CD to have if you are Korn fan

CD was exactly as expected. The case was in good shape and the all of the inserts were there and in great shape. The CD itself was clean with no damage. The CD plays perfectly.

CD in it's case

The product is a music cd, which has brought me wonderful memories. The sound of the music was excellent, and there were no negative markings or damages to the cd and it's case.

I love this cd

probably my fave korn cd besides Life Is Peachy, this cd is great in quality but it skips a little on 'predictable' but that's okay, I guess

Korn Self-titled Album (1994)

This is my favorite album from Korn and possibly the darkest of the all. Really heavy with though subjects in the lyrics. I recommend this album!!!!
