After an excruciatingly humiliating in-flight experience that culminated in a messy breakup and the untimely death of a dog, Nashawn Wade (Kevin Hart) sues the airline for all it's worth. This turns out to be a more than profitable move on his part; the lawsuit brings him a settlement in the hefty amount of 600 million dollars. Eager to prevent his experience from happening to another -- and perfectly willing to reap the financial benefits of the cash cow he believes his plan to be -- Nashawn decides to launch NWA, an all African American airline complete with sensuous stewardesses, an onboard dance club, and a bathroom attendant. Far be it from giving "flying the friendly skies" a new meaning, however, chaos ensues in the form of a white family with the unfortunate last name of Hunkee. The Hunkee patriarch (as played by Tom Arnold) and his antics prevent the flight from going as smoothly as intended. A Fun Packed Movie - Laughter Is Good For The Soul!

Too funny for words. Can't remember when I laughed so much - just what the doctor ordered to lift one's spirits. I have enjoyed watching this movie on cable and decided to purchase this one to add to my personal DVD collection. I enjoy watching Snoop Dog on his Reality Show and found him so funny in the role as Chief Pilot. Highly recommended to bring a smile to one's face. A funny movie based on the original "Airplane!"

I really liked this movie! I originally saw it on TV - I wanted to see it because I like Sofia Vergara, and ended up really liking the movie. It's funny and great fun, and I love all the hip-hop songs in it. It was so funny how they made this movie based on "Airplane!" but this is the hip-hop, African American version - so funny. It does have some explicit scenes and dialogue in it, but it's not too over-the-top like "Scary Movie 1" and "Scary Movie 2". Awesome movie in awesome condition. Love the actors.

Silly, raucous fun

If you want to laugh, pick up this movie, "Soul Plane." It is very vulgar so beware if you are skittish, yet there are so many laugh out loud moments in the movie it is worth a watching. Some of your favorite rappers also appear in the movie, such as Snoop Dogg (as the pilot) and Method Man (as the airline owner's scheming cousin.) This movie is a party from start to finish. GREAT funny movie!

This is a great funny movie. Please keep in mind it does make silly jokes in regards to all people (I do not think it is racist movie, but some people might take it as such). I watched it with a bunch of my friends (from many races) and they all said it was hilarious. None of them were offended by any of the silly jokes. The jokes are mostly regarding the silly quirks we are all guilty of. The plot, characters, and scenery are great!
