Very Fun Multiplayer Kirby Game

This was the first Kirby game in handheld console that featured combos in the copy abilities.
Such as Sword ability having extra moves. The exploration is pretty big for a Game Boy Advance title too. It's very Metroid-vania styled but with a Kirby twist. Also, new to this game is the Super Inhale, which allows the player to inhale or puzzle solve more complex puzzles. In the story Kirby was split into 4, and you a cell phone to call up your copy buddies to help out! I used to own a copy of this game back in the day and had a blast. Now I want to experience it all again but with my friends via link cable. I recommend this title for any Kirby fan or Platformer/Metroid-vania style games.Lire l'avis complet...

The Metroidvania for Kirby!

This game is like a Metroidvania for Kirby. Being a non-linear adventure, you play as Kirby to collect mirror shards, collect treasure, and take down enemies along the way. The game supports 4-player co-op so that means they can join in and work as a team to take down enemies, collect treasure, and acquire mirror shards. The game is still fun to play solo so you can call your team for backup when needed. If you are looking for a fun Kirby game with exploration, then Kirby and the Amazing Mirror is for you.Lire l'avis complet...

This is a really interesting and cool game for the GBA system!

There is a parallel universe called the Mirror World, with an entrance (that is like a mirror) that exists high in the skies of Dream Land. It is a world where any wish reflected in the mirror will come true. But one day, it only copies evil minds, and rapidly changes into a world of evil as a result. Meta Knight notices this and recognizes this as a threat to not only the Mirror World itself, but also to his native Dream Land, and visits the Mirror World to save the two worlds.
Meanwhile, Kirby is taking a walk, when Dark Meta Knight - an evil Mirror World version of Meta Knight - appears. But before Kirby can react, Dark Meta Knight slices Kirby into four differently-colored "Kirbys". At this point, they have to share the same Warp Star. Kirby normally travels alone, but if his cell phone is working, he can call his friends and they will help him. The four Kirbys chase after Dark Meta Knight and enter the Mirror World.

The two Meta Knights fight each other, but the real Meta Knight is defeated. He is knocked into the mirror, which is then cut into 8 fragments by Dark Meta Knight (which are then scattered across the Mirror World) - so now it's up to Kirby and his new "clones" to save Meta Knight, the Mirror World, and Dream Land...

...So, they decide to venture through the Mirror World, collect the mirror shards and reunite them, so they can gain access to the area where Meta Knight is being held and defeat Dark Meta Knight (and also to defeat the mastermind behind the whole thing, Dark Mind). At the end, it shows that all the Kirbys have their own Warp Stars, showing that they are heroes in their own right.

Good, but make sure you play "Kirby: A Nightmare in Dreamland" first.

I got this game due to the fond memories I had playing it.

It is very rare that a game from my childhood is HARDER than I remember it. The maze-like passages of this game compared to other Kirby games seem strange and out-of-place.

There is little instruction on what you are supposed to do, and I had to try to figure it out. Basically, the idea is this: when you go to a new area, you need to fumble blindly in the dark through random doors without a map until you find one. Then, you use said map to find the boss so you can fight the bosses and get a piece of the mirror.

But, it doesn't say that in the game.

As for the game's main gimmick, the cell phone, it's pretty useless for anything but getting some extra health once in a while. Also, if you use the cell phone, the bosses are super easy.

Overall, I believe "A Nightmare in Dreamland" is a better game in general, but this game is pretty fun due to the fun copy abilities. Hey, even certain sections of the game are fun. Exploring and trying to find every item is pretty cool.

Always loved this game

I'm so glad I own this game again. Let a family friend have it because he had nothing and I recently started missing playing the game and how nostalgic it was to me. Playing it again just reminds me of how good the Kirby game series is. This game, Nightmare in Dream Land and the N64 game Crystal Shards are the best Kirby games made in my opinion.

If you're looking for a good Kirby game and own a GBA or a DS with a GBA slot I couldn't recommend it enough.

Works Perfectly!

Was able to pop the game in and play immediately! Cartridge was as advertised (minor damage to sticker) but otherwise is in great condition. Very happy with my purchase.

Physically small but internally large for GBA.

Game is fun for being easy but difficult to master. A more open world themed 2D platformer is neat to experiment on.

A great game

I bought this game because I am a huge fan of Kirby, I found this game interesting, It's new levels and mini games are great. It's a lot like the one I previously bought Nightmare in dreamland. But for Kirby fans it's a pretty good buy. But for people looking for something totally new I wouldn't recommend this game too much. A lot of things are the same. Sometimes it actually gets kind of old. But I liked it, I liked having the extra Kirby's that you can call for help.Lire l'avis complet...

Very Fun Kirby Game!

Mindless fun can describe the Kirby games, sucking up enemies, stealing their powers, and spitting them back out never gets old with Kirby. His adventures on the gameboy advance are just as fun as on a console and the game still holds up very well today! GO GET THIS GAME! The only people i wouldn't recommend this too are people looking for a good, deep story.Lire l'avis complet...
