3-12V AC/DC adapter. Steady output, changeable ends with solid connection.
Don't let the price fool you. Item feels good and works great. Has a steady 9.2V output that I needed. Plenty of amperage for my needs. I have bought multiple of these in the past on Amazon and I am happy they are still available from Walmart eBay and ProTechTrader as these power adapters came recommended by users on the Nexstar forums for the 8se and also were featured in multiple youtube videos by electronic gadget guys. No doubt these are useful and handy to keep around as this 30w model can power 100s of different devices and I also like to keep one on my workbench for testing circuits. Great for an electronic enthusiast or homeowner as the reversible polarity is hard to come by and often needed for older or vintage electronics. Good, but can be better
Pros:
1) It works with guitar pedals, a casio keyboard (-polarity 9v) and a battery charger (+polarity 12v) as well
2) a very clear manual
3) eyes-friendly power on indicator
4) an additional usb charger port.
Cons:
1) some audible noise while on standby
2) a couple of scratches on the surface of the adapter
3) lack of EU (regional) plug adapter
4) relatively short wire (100cm).

Really like this power adapter
Like the ability to be able to switch polarity. Has worked well with several devices I have used it with. Second one I've bought. Would recommend.
