High Quality and Reasonably Priced
I am very pleased with my purchase of the 52mm Pro Angle Vented Metal Lens Hood which I bought for a lens that is used with my Sony A7Rii camera. The vented metal lens hood fits just right to protect the lens and also gives shade from the unwanted light coming towards the lens. The quality of the metal is topnotch and appears to be quite durable and strong. The price is just right as well. Works just great with one caveat
These inexpensive Chinese copies work well with my Fuji 23 and 35mm f/2 lenses. The caveat is that they are screw in. For me, that works just fine but be aware the filter has the size of the threads silk screened onto the rim of the shade. It may end up on top or somewhere else depending on how it screws in but I simply blacked the lettering out with a small permanent marker.
As to the complaint one reviewer made about the lens caps, this came with a lens cap but on the 23mm and 35mm f/2 Fuji lenses, the Fuji lens cap fits inside right to the lens itself. The included cap with this shade fits the outer portion and so dust can get in past the vents. Not so with the two Fuji lenses I own.Lire l'avis complet...

Good quality, but not deep enough
It's only 20mm deep, not enough to shade the front glass with its 82mm diameter. Had to extend it, but you can't attach two of them together, as the front part is wider.

Bad design
This hood fits into the filter mount instead of hood thread so you can not put your lens cover back on until you remove the hood

Good oroduct
This works really well, and Metal construction is great. Only thing I wish for is the ability to use the lens cap which does not fit. Otherwise, solid hood.

I love it!
This is great. Seriously. It would've been ridiculously expensive if it had a red dot on it. Honestly the only thing i dont like is that it has 55mm printed on it. Quality is great though. Its metal but super light. Looks awesome on my black minolta hi-matic 7s!Lire l'avis complet...
