Good fit for FT7900
Dropped right in.
Was concerned about the color code, as it didn't match what I took out. But end to end the cable was correct.
The only thing not perfect was the molded strain relief at the mic body entrance. Inside the case the cable still had about 1/2" of sleeve on the cable, which made tough to close the mic case. I 'clipped' the sleeve to open it up and it was perfect.

Yaesu/Vertex MH48A6J Microphone cable for FT1500-FT2600
The microphone cord for my older Yaesu FT2600 was falling apart, the outer shield was splitting and the individual wires exposed. Rather than replace the entire unit, I found this cable replacement for the Yaesu MH48 which was less expensive and very easy to install. There are a couple U-Tube videos with simple instructions. Only requires a small Phillips screwdriver and attention to what you are doing. Took me about 10 minutes to complete the task.Lire l'avis complet...

Excellent replacement cords
It's an excellent replacement for deteriorating or damaged cords for these microphones. I have multiple radios that use these mics so have replaced a couple of the cords on them now. Installation is very easy and only takes a couple minutes.Lire l'avis complet...

Good cable, but wired wrong.
I have an old FT-90R whose mic cable had fallen apart. This new cable appears to be well made. However, the unit I received, one of the plugs was installed 180 degrees out, or upside down. As a result neither the mic or the buttons functioned. Took about twenty minutes to figure it out and to get the flat connector apart and back together. Thus the three stars. Replacement Mic Cable for Yaesu 8800r Mobile Radio
Hi everybody, The was shipped fast and came in a bubble pack. The cable seems to be near original quality and was "plug and play"to the mic. I have tested two radios with the mic and all seems well. I guess it will take several months or even years to have a complete report.

Great Replacement mic cord
Is easy to change out. Old one was weather worn and losing all the covering. Glad I found this replacement. Took a little longer than was told, but it arrived without fail!

An excellent value to repair your old and damaged Yaesu mic cable.
Similar to original Yaesu part, but doesn't have molded boot over RJ-45 connector. Easy installed and works just like the factory part.

Great replacement
Had a fifteen year old FT-2600 new in the box radio. ( never got around to useing it) took it out of the box to make sure it still worked, and it did. But the mike cord grommet that went into the mic crumbled and fell apart. New one works great, easy to install, just no boot on RG45 plug, but we can live with that..Lire l'avis complet...
