Coax Compression Tool
This tool works great however you need to match up the correct cable with the correct end. Example, RG6 connectors will not work on Quad coax. You need to be sure and use RG6Q (Quad) on Quad cable. RG6 will work on regular Coax cable but not on the shielded Quad Cable. Other than this small hitch (learning experience) the tool works great and I would recommend it to anyone needing to make up special coax cable for their installation projeccts.Lire l'avis complet...

Doesn’t Work Well with PCT TRS-6LMG Connectors
I bought this to compress PCT TRS-6LMG connectors, however, those connectors have a thin ring on the very end, and this tool deforms that ring during compression. This is because the slot (or fork?) on the tool doesn’t distribute the compression pressure enough around the thin ring. I tried several times — all with the same issue.Lire l'avis complet...
