The 42" Microphone Scissor Arm Set is exactly what I needed for my voiceover work. It’s incredibly sturdy and has a great range of motion. Partially false claims
It does not hold four pounds as advertised. I tried a 2.8 lb mic and it sank like a stone. I couldn't twist the knob tight enough to keep it from dropping. This mic stand suspension is a great addition to my home studio setup. It's very sturdy and keeps my microphone stable, even when I'm moving around. The suspension is adjustable, so I can easily find the perfect angle for recording. The only downside is that it can be a bit tricky to install, but once it's in place, it's a solid piece of equipment.
