Perfect! Exactly what we needed!
My husband and I lived on a 45-foot sailboat for 18 years and cruised the East Coast and Bahamas. Two people who for most of our time afloat were not with others. But we had self-respect. We served dinner every night, and mostly ate on the aft deck. We used our fine Oneida flatware and our wedding china.
However,
it was a boat. We lost a lot of forks overboard during those years, and we didn't regret using them one bit. We were living our dream, and our dream included great food on a great "table setting." We actually sat on deck chairs with our plates in our laps, but the point was, we had beauty in the dinner setting as well as all around us.
So, when we "swallowed the hook," as boaters say, and moved to land, we decided to replace the forks we had lost during the wonderful years aboard. These forks are perfect and exactly what we needed to help us keep on having wonderful settings for dinner. We do eat at a table now, and we do enjoy the complete table setting.
