Fantastic!
I've got DirecTV and you may or may not know it, but when there is a heavy rainstorm, there will be either no reception or very intermittent reception! Well the weekend of all that rain and flooding we had down here in TEXAS last month, DirecTV was giving us a free 4 day weekend of Showtime!
"Wonder Woman" and "Edge of Tomorrow" were on and I never really got to see much of either!
So, I got onto ebay, looked up the movies and purchased both of them separately . . .
I'm happy I did just that! Now I can watch them whenever I want and even share them with the rest of the family and friends. The grand kids especially, enjoyed the Wonder Woman movie!
Also, I liked this version of Wonder Woman compared to the version I watched when I was much younger than I am now. Of course they're much better now with CGI and such we didn't have many years ago, but the plot is the same. Teaching honesty! Lire l'avis complet...

A Game Changer
Born to play the role of Wonder Woman, Gadot proves that women can be fierce and loyal, as well as empathetic, in director Patty Jenkins' epic, satisfying origin story. Some might be tempted to dismiss Gadot as just another pretty face, but -- as hinted at in her scenes in Batman v Superman -- she rises to the challenge of playing Diana as both ridiculously strong and sweetly naive. She's ready to fight, but she's even more focused on vanquishing evil for the sake of peace. Unlike Superman, Batman, or any of her male DC fellows, Wonder Woman isn't broodingly conflicted about her role or responsibility in the universe; she's hyper-focused on helping humanity and defeating the warmongering Ares. Lesson on staying focused
The character of Wonder Woman is a fine example for both men and women of how to stay focused when you are determined to accomplish something. She concludes from listening to her mother and her aunt that the only way to rid the world of evil is to kill the one entity that is causing the evil; who also happens to be her half brother - thus begins the adventure. Gal Gadot is strong, beautiful and convincing as Wonder Woman. Although the story is based on mythological characters, it can still teach a message that good and evil do exist and that we should never ever try to coexist with it because the evil one shows no mercy when allowed the freedom to move forward. One of the best movies of the year!
Gal Godot is the perfect casting choice to tell the story of the Amazon princess who became Wonder Woman.
I see only about three movies a year, and all three were keepers (or are expected to be).
So far, I've seen Only the Brave and Wonder Woman, and both were fantastic. The one remaining is Star Wars: The Last Jedi. We're looking forward to seeing that one, too.
I usually buy only one dvd a year (yard sales don't count), and this year, Wonder Woman was it! (I admit, I already know one of us will have to buy the Star Wars dvd to complete my son's collection).Lire l'avis complet...

Wonder Woman.
The movie was awesome. it's no wonder it became a smash hit in theatres. So glad i got this. The sequel was scheduled to be released next year in the fall but got pushed back to 2020.

I am a big Wonder Woman fan and this movie on DVD I can watch it whenever I want. eBay has great DVDs at great prices. I shop eBay and I cannot see myself go any other place for DVDs.
