Miniature ark of the covenenat
A bucket list item I always wanted to see and maybe touch. This art piece fit the bill perfectly. Very detailed and ornate. Removable lid with carved manna, tablets and staff inside for accuracy. My alter:
It is the inspiration of my home altar. Very beautiful, life like. Inside the ark are 1. The two tablets bearing the Ten Commandments. 2. The golden pot that held manna, and 3. Aaron's rod, that budded. In the picture, you can see my altar. Hebrew is written from right to left. First you see the show bread, and candelabra. The Ark of the covenant. Essence of Frankincense and myrrh incense. Then the cross of Jesus and anointing oil. Sackcloth and ashes. Bare feet (Moses and the burning bush, Joshua before he entered Jericho).
