The best soft harmonies emanated by acoustic guitar strings.
after using d'Addario steel strings for 20 years, I found that the silk wound string provides the kind of soft tone for the type of music I play...Simon & Garfunkel, Jim Croce, Milk Carton Kids, etc.

Pain free strings
The silk and steel strings have a "Less Bright" sound to them. Less twang , but on my guitar I like that. Even more when it is plugged into my amp. The sound is great. The feel of these strings was my reason to purchase. They are MUCH easier on the fingers. I can play longer now with much less pain in my fretting hand finger tips. The 11 gauge is also not as loud or bright sounding as the normal 12's that acoustics usually come with, but it's fine for me. I really enjoy playing more now with these strings. mellow finger style strings
Nice finger style strings. But, a little too mellow for the very nice rosewood back and sides old triple "O". Better on the sloped "D". Probably good on the 14 fret dreadnought, the strumming style, but better on the custom finger style 12 fret sloped "D". Whatever...Lire l'avis complet...

Well worth the money...
Just getting back into serious practicing again after a long layoff. The light gauge strings are much easier on the fingers than, say, a standard diameter set of strings. I enjoy the tone of these and the delivered intensity is fine for closed spaces and practice sessions. Lire l'avis complet...

So much easier on the fingers than the extra light acoustic strings I had been using. Pain-free playing and a beautiful warm, sparkling tone. Wish I had gotten these years ago!

Ball End options for those not wishing the standard Tie-Off Classical Guitar are severely limited with what being available aiming for a budget market resulting in budget quality or to be blatantly honest "crap strings"
If You want tonal quality you will have to pay the price and why the EJ40 are not overly Expensive they are not bargin barrel cheap either but will give you WAY BETTER TONE and Last far Longer than the cheaper crap options.
Face it by time you buy three sets of Crap Strings You could have purchased one quality set that's still alive and kickin with way better tone or hey TONE period and still pocketed a few bucks.Lire l'avis complet...
