Transmitter Battery for Spektrum DX6
Installs easy, but a little hard to find correct battery charger with right voltage DC and pin size that small. Once installed works great and no more AA cells.

SPEKTRUM DX6 BATTERY. A MUST HAVE UPGRADE.
nice to have but does not take long to pop in a fresh set of rechargeable "AA" batteries when I head to the field and I can use them for other things also.
if you have the extra $$ it is a nice upgrade but certainly noting you cant live without.

Does NOT fit my DX6e with mods
This does NOT fit DX6e radio! If you don't mind spending 1/2 hour making it fit then yes it's convenient. Yes I removed both foam blocks and the sticky on the cover. I still had to modify ie. remove material from compartment to fit in. No space for wires, battery case is exact fit so it must drop straight in. Go to hobby store and see for yourself first. Even with slot cut for wires they are too short to put case in straight with plug in. I had to sand the bottom corner of the pack to clearance for initial rotation. Sorry to post as a "two" but does not fit my new DX6e Spektrum radio, research it before purchase. Once I fought it in there it's been great, no more wasted AA batteries.Lire l'avis complet...

Spektrum DX6e Li-Ion Battery is a great addition to the transmitter
This is an excellent addition to the Spektrum DX6e RC Transmitter. It is a very tight fit in the battery compartment but I did not have to make any modifications to the transmitter. It was difficult to install the battery door. I am happy with the extra time it provides before having to recharge the battery compared to conventional AA batteries.Lire l'avis complet...

Premium Power Option
Premium power option. Upgrades DX6 to be more like the DX8 which comes standard with this battery and charger set. This results in long battery life per charge which removes the problem of having to carry spare AA batteries to the flying field. If you can afford it, get it.Lire l'avis complet...

Spektrum SPMA9602 2000mAh Li-Ion transmitter battery pack
This a great item for the Spektrum family of radio units. It allows you to forget about AA batteries. You will need the a charger for the battery pack. I have only found on with the correct charger connector that works from Horizon Hobby web site at $20). Still still better than buying batteries. Very tight fit
Had to move power cable to lower point on box in order to get into controller.
Very nice charging circuit built in, battery can be easily replaced.

What's not to like about lipos? This battery fits perfect, and can hold a charge way better than Nimh's. Going to need a proprietary charger, old Spektrum chargers won't work.
