I was asked if it's durable I said no because this is not a item to play with. It is a high quality metal replica that should only be displayed. It's recommend for children over the age of 13 to build. The parts are bendable and some have sharp edges so it's not a toy. It is very detailed and close to museum quality. It's fun to put together and amazing to see when completed. I highly recommend this item for anyone in the age range of 14 to 90. This model was fairly easy to assemble. Not all are. It looks nice when complete. I would recommend it as a starter kit.
