I have tested the hfe of these and they test good. I will eventually use them to repair a couple of power supplies (pass transistors)- these have good reviews from other users.

Good quality transistors
This appears to be a very good 2N3771 transistor compared to some of the other ones out there. Great for use in power supply that used them originally.

They work for what I needed.
