Feel and sound great.
Time to put on new strings so tried these. They feel fantastic and sound excellent. I am using them on my ESP 5 string, it's not fretless but still gives me a nice full jazz sound. Overtones ring clear and low end is solid. Per RotoSound website, no 6 string sets available.Lire l'avis complet...

Best strings available!
In my opinion, there are no better sound or brand of nylon wound strings. I have tried many others throughout my lifetime. Been using RS for many years on my 5 string, Fender Victor Bailey.

GREAT SOUND STRINGS!!!!
Better than expected, Wow, smooth, soft warm sound. Great for SALSA. They sound muy bueno my friends. I will be getting a set for my Washburn xb100 4 string soon because that bass sounds like a stand up already and I know with these strings is going to be shockingly great!! Great soft sound.
The sound I was looking for. I tried black nylon tapewound on my Fender Jazz Bass and liked them so I purchased the black nylon flatwound for my 5 string and they are comparable in sound and feel. Bigger is better?
These are fun strings to play with a nice, warm, fat tone that’s got enough pop for slapping & a very cool yellow ribbon wrap @ the tuner end. Now the down side, the actual gauges (measured with a digital micrometer) are 72-81-103-118-144. The B string is a little more textured than the others & surprisingly with it’s massive girth does not drop tune particularly well even on a 35” scale. For a few extra bucks I would go with the La Bella’s which are super smooth, very consistent & the gauges are spot on.Lire l'avis complet...

Rotosound 5 string bass
I really love theses strings everyone who hears or plays my bass wants the string now. Am forever sold on it. Could be a little cheaper but I guess that's the price of quality

Sounds great
I wanted to prevent a blister on my fingers and when I found a five string set, well it feels good. My Fender Precision Mexican Bass sounds real good.

Rotosound 88 Blk Strings
Best strings I've purchased yet to date. I like it that it reduces 99% of finger sliding noise. The only other desire I have is that they would make these strings in other colors.
