incredible training collar

I love this set for my dogs. I own dobermans, and I work them everyday. I do not use this for 'training' but do use it for automatic compliance in an emergency, like chasing animals in the woods, going too far away or near a road, when my dogs are off leash. This product, IMO, is not for 'training' your dog, but for when the dog 'blows you off' and refuses to do something you KNOW you have trained the dog to do. you can just 'buzz' them with an audible buzzing sound, and have the option of continuous or momentay stimulation. You can use one transmitter for up to 3 dogs at a time. They are simple to use , you do not have to look at a screen to see what stim level you are on... there is no screen just a tactile dial. which is wonderful for those who do not want to wear their glasses on the training field. . I need glasses and don't want to have to wear them on the field, just to read a screen, to tell me what number I am set at. TriTonics is easliy dialed up or down in stim level with a tactile dial, no need for glasses as you do not have to look at a screen every time you change levels, you can feel the clicks on the dial. . For me these units are invaluable for letting my dogs be off leash on my large wooded property, but remaining in control of them at all times. I have many of the different manufacturers ecollars, but this one , for me , is the best. The transmitter runs on a 9 volt battery. You can replace it easily, but I have run my transmitter for over a year, about 8 hours a day (with 2 collars being used) every day, and do not need a new battery yet. I love not having to plug in the transmitter all the time to charge it. The collars are easy to charge, but they too, last for weeks on one charge. I own dogtra, sport dog, and einstein brand ecollar sets but this is my goto collar. All the others have to be plugged into a charger, with tiny little plugs, almost everyday. With the TriTronics sport basic, no charging for a year for the transmitter, and maybe every 2 weeks for the receivers, and they have a nice big cradle you just snap the whole receiver into . easy!
