Easy installation

With flange or without depends on your requirements, either works fine. Just don't use one with a flange if you need a tight fit between parts unless you countersink for the flange. The hex-drive makes in real easy to install in any kind of wood unlike the brass inserts that require you to use a screw driver. Does the job

Good product. Metal could be a little harder, as the material is a tad soft. But installed they work well.

Pretty self explanatory product. These threaded inserts install easily and let you attach things to wood with 1/4x20 bolts.

Weak material

I installed 22 of these in a 2x4 to hold a 4x8 plywood. Installing them were easy as it grabs the wood. But when I go to install the screw, some of them were not threaded all the way so the screw got stuck. When backing out the screw, it would also back out the insert as well. After removing the insert completely out of the wood, I was able to remove the screw from the insert. I see that the insert was easily damaged while the screw was ok. I had 6 out of 22 inserts that was damaged.Lire l'avis complet...

Perfect.

These threaded inserts worked great. I had to go down a little on a SAE bit drill as compared to the metric bit on the package. These inserts are being used on my plastic kayak.

GREAT WAY TO ADD THREADS TO WOOD......

Can't be any easier to install, drill the correct size hole and then screw the EZ-LOK into the hole, keeping in mind to maintain a 90 degree angle to the work so the EZ-LOK doesn't drift sideways......Lire l'avis complet...
