I use it by connecting the front and back with a commercially available LAN cable
The only complaint is that the SD card slot is weakly waterproof.

Garmin uhd 9sv
Much better improvement over my striker 9sv. Not panoptix clear but pretty good nonetheless. Still not as good as hb mega imaging but this is the best when price is factored in
