Warm and mellow but not dead.
These strings brought new life to my jazz box. Good jazz tone with excellent sustain. Most flat-wounds sound dead by comparison.

Just ok.
The 3rd string should be plain, as it has lower output than the rest. Requires adj the pole piece, which is no biggie, but, still......
