Paddington is delightful. He is three-dimensional (unlike Curious George). He always gets out of his scrapes, but you don't feel like he was a bad bear or just "curious." He definitely thinks like a child--especially a little boy. They say 5-7 years. But I say 5-10 and the older ones like it too--boys and girls. It is encouraging for a child to hear that someone ELSE made the mistake (similar to the ones little ones make but comically exaggerated)--especially someone who is so endearing.
