Tap & die for British Restoration work...

We are currently working on restoration projects on 3 60+ year old English cars. Needless to say many of the original bolts and nuts were difficult to remove. With this set were have already been able to rethread many of the body mount locations, prepping them for having new bolts. Having both the BSF and BSW threading is essential since they use both. Has been great. Downside is that the drive handles are pretty weak. The tap handle cracked upon first usage. Luckily for us, we have a large SAE/Metric set made by IRWIN that has a very solid & sturdy drive handle. The Tap and Dies themselves appear to be made very well of hardened metal. I used the smallest tap though hard steel and it held up great.
