HAWX XBOX 360

I bought this game because I'm a huge fan of the Tom Clancy games and this latest game opens up a new chapter to the Tom Clancy Ghost Recon story. For the first time, this game puts you into the cockpit of some of the best fighter planes in the world and gives you the perspective of war from a pilots point of view. The story is loosely tied to Ghost Recon in where you provide support to the Ghosts in a couple of missions. Basically, the game starts where Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 leaves off, in Juarez, Mexico. You are Major David Crenshaw and you fly a f-18 hornet in support of the Ghosts. After completing the first mission, you find out that your stint with the US military is over and you end up being hired by a private military contractor, Artemis. Artemis is basically a hired gun and you are the gunman. I don't want to give the story away, so I'll let you find out for yourself what happens. This game is very good. The reason I didn't give it an excellent rating is that the graphics and backgrounds were stunning, but the action is so fast, you don't get a chance to enjoy it. Other than that, it is a great game. I beat the single player missions already, but it wasn't easy. You really need to think on the fly, pick and choose targets and prioritize in order to complete missions. I have yet to join the xbox live portion of it, but I will try it sometime. The fact that you can go on xbox live and complete missions with others is great. Most flight games don't do that. I think HAWX is the latest and best flight game for the 360. It beats the other games like Ace Combat hands down. I wanted a flight game, I waited for this one, and this game did not disappoint. good game 8.5 out of 10Lire l'avis complet...

Very good graphics, great game, good gameplay.

Recently got this game, I was surprised with the graphics and detail into the game. The gameplay is good, although, when playing the {your} airplane seems like it just moves up/down/left/right. The main screen while playing is very detailed, you get to see a map that can switch between two sizes, a little screen on top left corner that you get your mission updates thru and get to see other wingmen while they talk to you.

The story line seems to be pretty good, I only played the first couple missions. As I place the cd into my Xbox, it asked me to uptdate and the disc updates to a newer version of Xbox 360 hud [ called the new experience or so]. Overall im very happy with the game, its amazing while playing it on an LCD HD TV, especially if its a good size one!!

Great 'flight simulator' game! Highly recommended!

This game is a conundrum, as it is both sophisticated yet easy to play. Like a lot of games with these aspects...it is also addicting. I'm serious, even after you've beaten the games storyline battles, you'll find yourself going back and playing these battles over and over in order to increase your rank, which will unlock more playable aircraft in the inventory. And this is neither boring nor overbearing in its feelings of repetiveness.

I've played this game before and aside from the fact it has to be the best 'flight simulation' game ever, its attention to detail and interesting storyline makes this one hard to top.
The fact that so many military aircraft, from past present and future, are available for the player, is just 'icing on the cake'.

Future Game Of The Year?

Tom Clancy has all but dominated the first-person shooter genre for the better half of the last decade. Whether it’s Rainbow 6, Ghost Recon, End War or the recently revived, upcoming action/tactical series; Splinter Cell, his games seem to fly off shelves. I wonder how much he actually has to do with the game or whether it’s just a marketing ploy by Ubisoft to cram his name in before the title just to sell a few thousand more units. H.A.W.X. is an air combat game that just happens to have his name pasted in front if it.

Very Fun game - I feel like Tom Cruise in TopGun

A very fun game with great graphics. And it's easy enough for a newbie or an experienced gamer can both enjoy the same game, The playability is very good, sound is awesome, you feel like your really flying a plane in a dogfight.

I'd suggest buying the game, if you ask me.

Great Game, fun to play

Loads of fun to play. single player difficulty seems to rise and fall sporadically, so some very frustrating levels, some very easy ones, and some right in the middle. multiplayer is fun but can be ruined easily by too skilled of players or noobish movesLire l'avis complet...

Great Game!

This is one of the most realistic flight simulators I have ever played! It's actually quite sad to think that Ace Combat (which has roughly 6 games out) is dwindled in comparison to this. The online multiplayer Co-Op through the story is a nice feature that lets your friends help you out. The actual plot of the game is great as well. The Tom Clancy games leave another hit in their wake!Lire l'avis complet...
