My receiver only gets Pro Logic sound (no stereo on surround speakers)

I'm not sure why but my old Kenwood receiver (1997) won't switch to Dolby Digital as it automatically does when playing DVDs. I can only use Pro Logic without the surround in stereo. I used the optical out on my LG and I tried every mode in the settings.

The surround sound speakers are not in stereo but I am still happy this is working. I remember Dolby Digital was much more exciting than Pro Logic but I won't upgrade my old stereo system because it still works.

This is the only converter I found that claimed to support Dolby Digital 5.1 but I don't know if it's just an issue with my setup.Lire l'avis complet...
