A little too pricy, considering this model can be found from other vendors sealed and for half the price, however, it came in great condition and is a great investment compared to picking up the $20 Target players that don’t typically last longer then 5 months.

Information about the product if you’re trying to pick a Walkman:

This is probably the best Walkman I’ve ever bought. If you’re looking for a first Walkman, I would recommend buying the Jensen $20 Waksmans that Target sells. They’re cheap, but the good sound quality and radio feature make it a great way to see if cassettes are right for you. If you’re looking for something that’ll last longer though and you can take on adventures, I would invest in a sports Walkman like this.

Tips: Don’t keep it in a hot space. The rubber inside will become brittle. Use rechargeable batteries because the rewind and fast forward features are AA killers. My recommendation, and I do personally, is invest in a $10-20 solar battery charger to pretty much get unlimited energy for your Walkman until the elements break them.

This Walkman is great place to start if you have the money to drop. If you’re looking for a budget version, my recommendation from personal experience is don’t shoot for the lowest price, because it will break, but don’t buy a product like this because it may not meet your needs.
