X10 Plc01 repeater

I contacted the seller where I purchased a couple of xppf noise filters and it did not quite do the job in eliminating the intermittent problem on the line. After exchanging a series of emails, the seller convinced me to give this unit a try. I found that the older timer/controller generates a signal but not very strong. The plc01 repeater seems to regenrate the signal again, and appears to do the job of controlling all the x10 modules thru out the house. This and the two xppf modules I have on the line seem to have taken care of my problem. Repeater works well as long as it can receive the X10 signal

X10 modules can be very difficult to control if they are mounted on a branch circuit with a GFCI outlet. The GFCIs contain filter capacitors that significantly reduce the X10 signal. I used this repeater to boost my X10 signal and it worked on some branch circuits, but not all as a result of signal degradation from the GFCIs.Lire l'avis complet...

problems having signals blocked.

signals repeated on power line actually inhibited the actions of the specific control signals needed to be sent, and the transmission did not work well. The red light on the unit continued to flash many times but the control action did not take place. Can't determine the problem yet, but when I unplugged it, original control signal was not blocked.Lire l'avis complet...

X10 Repeated Commands for the Win!

This X10 repeater absolutely solved my problem. Now, different controllers in different rooms can get X10 responses from other rooms/areas. Huge relief!
