CPU fan fits perfect, runs quiet. Good as new. I especially appreciate that it came with thermal compound that is required to properly install. Note that you literally have to disassemble pretty much every part of the Inspiron 1525 to install this - 30 steps in the tear down instructions I followed. Works just like described, nothing really to review. The fan that comes with the computer usually loses efficiency over the years due to dust/hair and needs to be replaced
