I was Leary of getting this stand because of the strap....I thought it might be week and break, however being that it is made by LP I looked closer. There were only 2 reviews on the web and both were extremely positive,. I had a Gibraltar for 15 years and the rod/wing nut mount snapped ( non repairable) so I was hesitant about getting another Gibraltar. The LP stand arrived today (SUPER FAST SHIPPER) and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! it is SUPER STRONG...I play hard and my bongos aint going no where!!!! Also they wont get dented or scratched. It is a snap to disassemble my bongos from the stand with one flip of the cam and wham I can load another set almost instantly. Also...the strap will probably out last me...but if it does wear down I can always purchase just that assemble from one of LP's distributors.....Bottom line.....The construction of this stand is bar none the best on the market...and the innovated way of mounting and dismounting are state of the art.Lire l'avis complet...
