Hard On Antennas
I own a pair of Uniden 436HP digital scanners. I have owned several antennas. One was the old RS 800 megahertz antenna. I have owned around 12 of these. All of these have gone south due to what I believe to be poor construction. So, I ordered another brand from Scanner Masters, SMA, with gain. I bought two of these. This was an incredible antenna, but if you let it drop or fall over, a shaft positioned toward the base would break and reception would go south.

Better band range and do not have to worry as much breaking it due to the flexibility.

Great Antenna

Improved reception
This antenna is a great value. It definitely has improved my reception. Distant counties that were fuzzy or distorted in sound now have clarity. I highly recommend it.
