Silicone wrap for sublimation mugs!
This silicone wrap plus your oven allows you to customize 11oz mugs that have a sublimation coating.
The use of the wrap is simple, though the preparation leading up to wrapping and baking the mug is not.
This wrap works as intended and does a great job, though the catch that holds it together is a little difficult to figure out. It "looks wrong" going together but actually works nicely, being very easy to release when hot.
For anyone wondering how this is used, here's a rundown of creating your own mug designs using this wrap...
1) you obtain some 11oz sublimation mugs, a mug wrap, and the stuff needed to do dye sublimation printing. Some say a dedicated oven not to be used for food should be used.
2) figure out how to print images in reverse using dye sublimation ink on specially coated transfer paper, (the not so simple part)
3) Tape your transfer paper to the mug using heat resistant tape, cover with plain paper, and put this wrap on the mug, completely covering the transfer paper and blowout paper. Then bake the mug / paper / wrap upside down at 400F for 20 minutes.
4) Remove from the oven wearing oven mitts, and dislodge the catch, releasing the wrap. Remove the paper, and viola! Your own customized mug.

Can't close clamp
My only problem is the clamp is too hard to close
