ESS Labs 5” Midrange

I have an old pair of Scott 3 way speakers I was restoring but the original 5” midranges were in very poor condition so I decided to find affordable replacements. These looked like a good match so I took a chance on them, for the great price I figured I had little to lose. I restore a lot of vintage speakers, but these closed back midranges turned out to be perfect for my restoration project, their impedance scans matched the original drivers quite well, but more importantly they sound great, I really couldn’t be happier with them, a great bargain, and they look great too! these are good replacement mid range speakers. sounds good. good tonal quality. I would recommend them
