MINIDISC BARGAIN
THIS WAS A GREAT BUY, ( STEAL), AS IT HAD NEVER BEEN USED BEFORE . THE 20 BRAND NEW DISCS AT $3.00 EACH WILL SELL FOR WHAT I PAID FOR THIS WHOLE PACKAGE ! I STILL LOVE MINIDISCS AS YOU CAN COPY MUSIC FREE, ( UNLIKE THE KIDS USING ITUNES), FROM JUST ABOUT ANY SOURCE THAT HAS A HEADPHONES JACK. THREE CHEERS FOR EBAY AND THE STUFF YOU CAN WIN ON THERE !Lire l'avis complet...

MD format lives!
Item recd. looked brand new but if used it was very light use. Have software to move songs from my itunes library to MD disc, one disk holds 35-40 songs!

Great sound, light weight, features are easy to use
I honestly thought I reviewed this item, sorry, I bought it a while back and still love it just as much! It IS durable, I record music all the time. The item really fit the description, shop owner very cool, he knew about what it was just about worth. Speedy delivery!Lire l'avis complet...
Good choice for portable minidisc recorder
If you want a portable minidisc recorder, this is a good model to choose. It runs on an AA battery, while the higher-end models used a proprietary lithium battery that is now unobtainium.
This model has microphone, line, and digital inputs. I record FLAC files to it using a Zinwell media player with Toslink output. That requires an optical mini-plug adapter. Don't bother with the PC software; it cannot record in the highest-quality mode. Optical copies from CD and FLAC sound great. It can also record a radio program right from the headphone jack of the radio. Beware if you record on a minidisc, there's no good way to transfer the audio to anything else.
Look for one with a power adapter and remote control.Lire l'avis complet...

Sounds good, works fine.
PROS: Runs forever on a single AA battery (no expensive proprietary batteries required). Type-R digital encoding is one of the better sounding minidisc formats. Easy to use, clear display.
CONS: Display has no light. Battery compartment "bulge" on rear of unit, i.e. not as flat & compact as some other minidisc recorders.
NOTE - there is a "safety" tab on every blank minidisc to keep you from accidently recording over a disk that you don't want erased. Apparently the other reviewer failed to RTFM (Read The Factory Manual).Lire l'avis complet...

Will not record.
The recorder is great other than it won't record correctly. It begins to write in the middle of a song and the TOC will not go off until it is unplugged. So disappointed!! It is in such nice condition and seems to play but recording just doesn't work..Lire l'avis complet...
