Prometheus, If you are a fan of Ridley Scott this set is a must have. If you have 3-D capabilities such as a TV or PlayStation VR headset it looks great in 3-D. I enjoy PlayStation VR headset it blocks out all distractions. You can plug in Apple's ear buds and have great sound effects. The Blu-ray disc is also a great looking. Saddened to hear that alien covenant isn't going to add 3-D to their set. Prometheus was ridley Scott thinking out of the box as I have seen with his other movies. I appreciate directors that don't follow trends and formulas like so many other movies and directors do today. I watched an interview with ridley Scott saying he plans on continuing movies with the alien Sauga. To Ridley Scott, Cheers mate! We need more directors like you.Lire l'avis complet...

Great cinemetography, great 3D, alright story

I'm definitely glad i got to see this a second time with my friend (who hadnt seen it yet), a lot of stuff i missed, a lot of discussion was had. But primarily it was just glorious to watch. Beautiful film. The 3D isnt as great as in the theater since even a big TV is a little too small (some shots feel more like looking at a diorama instead of a grandiose scene) but my favorite 3D parts (like all the ship technology and the holograms) were still cool and beautiful as hell.

Even tho i didnt purchase this for the extra features, i did enjoy them, particularly the scene tests or whatever theyre called, where theyre testing an actor with a stand-in. Its interesting to see how the actors and sets and scripts started out, adds something as well. Theres a scene test that i think is better than the final scene that makes a lot of sense out of the ending convo with the main character and fassbender's character (it felt disjoint on the first watch but the original way its was supposed to go makes a lot of sense, i think scott probably needed to be torn away near the end of production and was allowed to edit the movie a bit too much).

Anyway, its not hard sci-fi, but its a rad, beautiful space fantasy that really took advantage of 3D movie technology. If you can find it cheap, pick it up if you have 3D TV and want to enjoy this slice of humanity before it disappears from obsolescence..Lire l'avis complet...

Spectacular 3D in Prometheus Blu-ray DVD

Amazing movie. One of Ridley’s best. Beautiful set design and cinematic production.

Bonus content worth the buy.

This movie wasn't received well by many viewers. The bonus content on this DVD explains a lot of thing's. It definitely helps explain how this story fits into the alien universe. It also came with a code to get money off seeing alien covenant in theaters. So if you plan on going to see it as well. Great 3d movie

This movie was pretty good in sound quality & picture quality. The 3d dimensions where great this is by far one of the better 3d movies I have seen in a while. Must have in your 3d collection!

Great Flick!

One of my favorites. I wish Ridley Scott would make extended editions to this franchise, like Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven. I am anxious to see the 3D on my soon to be purchased projector!

An excellent follow up to the original Alien

This blu ray version is stunningly excellent in picture quality. I was very surprised when I recently picked this up on sale.
The opening scene alone is really a great work of film making.

The "scare" factor in this is similar to the exploding stomach in the first Alien, and the climax is even better in my opinion.

The realism of the future technology used in this is believable and equally stunning. Overall recommended.Lire l'avis complet...

It’s a movie I enjoy. Ridley Scott is my guy. It’s a good Blu-ray to own. I like to own certain movies. This one is one of them. The price was right. Enjoyed.
