I like this drive

However, even though it seems quite good, it's too early to judge. Longevity in a notebook environment is crucial to drive evaluation, since the quarters are cramped and ventilation difficult. Yeah, it gets warm, but far from hot. Very quiet and fast considering that it only has 32MB cash (compared to 64 and on up on desktop drives). Haven't run large databases such as my orchestral sample libraries, so I don't really know how fast it is when it comes to larger amounts of data fetched by a fast quad processor such as the one in my notebook. In all, I am very satisfied with this drive, but, as I said, only the future will tell of its real endurance. I have been using mainly Seagate drives; they've never failed on me.
