Very Small and Very Lite.. Nothing like the Logs we Have!
Like others have commented.. if you are already familiar with a proper ceramic fireplace log you will find these VERY comical on arrival.... much like what your expect to find in a doll house.
I've added photos showing ALL eight of these stacked, not much larger than an American dollar bill..
My definition, and well as many others that commented here.. of a true fireplace Log is one that sits horizontally on the fireplace grate.. reaching both sides of the grate.. slightly lighter than concrete.. and of substantial girth to give the illusion a homeowner knows which LOGS to burn and which to not.. these are rather funny to look at..
Once I find a few proper logs, I'll most likely lean these toys against them to see if they divert them flames in more interesting patterns.. alone they're silly ..

Ceramic logs
I have had a set of ceramic logs in my fireplace for many years which I bought from a fireplace store.
These logs are Not ceramic logs in my opinion. They are literally feather light. My set had one damaged log which showed a view of white soft material with an eggshell thick coating of a ceramic substance that was maybe sprayed on. Dangerous in my opinion as they could blow out of a fireplace with minimal breeze and possibly catch something on fire.

I bought them to “fill in” some “gaps” in my outdoor gas fire pit and they were perfect! They looked like they had been partially burned which made them a perfect addition, as I had used my existing one several years! But watch the measurements versus what you need. Ceramic logs do what they are supposed to do
The Ignis ceramic logs supplement the larger, older ceramic logs we already had in our natural gas fireplace. The Ignis logs are small, more like wooden pieces placed around our larger ceramic logs. The logs look authentic and appear to be well made. Like ceramic logs from any source, they are very expensive and more than one set is required to cover the mechanical source of the flames. You Get What You Pay For
I purchased these "ceramic" logs picturing ceramic quality, looks, weight and durability. This product was more like a sinewy Styrofoam. Got to see the insides since one of the logs was broken in two upon arrival. Not realistic looking at all with no log texture on one or two flat sides.
