These do not produce spec gain at 27MHz
This review is for those people looking for radio finals either 2SC1969 or 2SC2312. I tried the following:
CB-20W (2SC1969/2SC2312) ELEFLOW HF/RF TRANSISTOR from ebay userid weazle66 - provided OEM gain, SWR and output power in 26-28MHz band at OEM bias current.
2SC2312 Silicon RF Power Transistor NPN 12V 17W 27MHz TO220 from ebay userid semitronus - provided 1/2 OEM gain and output power in 26-28MHz band.
2SC2312 Original Pulled Matsushita Transistor C2312 from dalbanicorporation - provided no gain or output power in 26-28MHz band.
Weazle66 from the UK is the only one that has the real deal. The others "work" but gain at frequency is far below OEM which is unsatisfactory and unacceptable. Another good and verified source is rfparts. But only weazle66 has matched pairs for dual final radios.
His prices are reasonable and shipping was fast even here to the US via Royal Mail and USPS.
