This replaced a part in our 2 yr old Stealth (expensive trailer) that had a plastic casing. (plastic as in a sandwich baggie plastic).

Short peices, but cheaper and easier to ship

I was originally looking for a solid 14' piece of LED track but was worried about shipping damage, and those who had it wanted huge dollars for it. This was the only source for shorter, shippable sections of LED track. I was able to salvage some sections of the previous track so that also saved me some money. It is a little more tedious to slide the joints of separate sections of track pieces into the awning rail, but once in place, it works fine. One long piece would have installed betteri/easier, but given the potential shipping and cost issues this was a reasonable compromise.Lire l'avis complet...

Great LED lighting for Dometic awning

Slid perfectly into the track on our Dometic awning. 7/16 in. wide with no adhesive. Gave it 4 stars because I had to cut the end terminal off and solder the wires together. Order arrived quickly. It doesn't fit my Dometic 9100 awning with metal weatherguard

Because it doesn't fit my awning. My awning documentation indicates that it's a Dometic 9100, but it doesn't fit my awning. The technician that works on my motorhome indicated that it might be because this one is for a vinyl weatherguard, while my awning has a metal one.
