Great Kit
I purchase a Slk32 AMD that the top would not go down when I tried it it blew all of the oil out of the rear most cylinders. I was told $2200.00 for new ones really! Labor around $1500.00 from dealer. All the cylinders were bad. I bought your kit and everything worked good compared to used that aren't any better than what I have what a deal. The only thing I did different I used 1/4" metal screw, 5 of them, with two flat washers, to hold the retainer in the rear most cylinders after drilling them out. Made sure they didn't touch the piston rod. Very happy saved me a lot of money and made the car great again. If you have a SLK that has leaking cylinders buy this kit you won't regret. Saved Thousands!
This is a great DIY product, but if you are even just a bit mechanically inclined, you will succeed and save literally thousands by not taking it to the Mercedes-Benz dealer. The instructions are very informative and walk you through each step. You will have to do the work and not be afraid of taking things apart, but with the instructions and confidence in basic skills it is a absolute life safer. Thank you very much. Good price, easy to read instructions, Save yourself some money and buy this DIY
It was relatively easy to fix. The directions were good and included pictures. Took less than an hour to fix the front actuator on my SLK320. I would recommend this as it is a great alternative to buying used or new actuators. Great for the DIY'ers!Lire l'avis complet...

SLK Cylinder Rebuild
Received everything needed to rebuild all 5 cylinders in my SLK, easy to follow directions - completed the job in around 4 hours. I did find it easier to remove the top cylinders completely from the car, rather than try to work with the limited space the directions suggested - though it was the best option for the roof cylinder.Lire l'avis complet...
