Best mega drive to own, if you don't mind the added expense.
Sega MegaDrive and Mega-CD in one compact device. Can also be used as a portable Audio CD walkman vi AA batteries.
Picture quality is on a par with the early MegaDrive 1 and Sega 32x units. RGB Scart looks very nice and clear on this console.
Sound Quality: Audio from the A/V output isn't very good to be honest, get audio hum. However, use the dedicated Line-Out on the side of the unit and you get best audio output from any Mega Drive device on the market.
CD playback is amazing sound quality wise.
Cons:
Can't use the official Sega Multi Tap with this as the controller ports are angled.
You can use a 32x with this, but the unit looks silly and is easy to topple over.
Make sure it comes with the original power supply, you can use a MD2 PSU, but it will wear out a Multimega quickly, so don't do it.
It's expensive yes, but for an all in one console that has the picture quality of an early MD1 and audio quality of a mega cd.
A lot cheaper to buy a mega drive and mega cd though.Lire l'avis complet...
A great Sega console and loads of fun !
We bought the multi-mega so we could have an all in one megadrive and mega cd without taking up too much space on the desktop , its compact , works perfectly and there is a huge selection of games to play on it . Favourite mega cd games so far are Lethal enforcers 1 & 2 , Ground zero texas , sol feace , Snatcher and Ecco . Favourite megadrive games so far would be Toe jam and earl , Speedball II , Rock n roll racing and Micro machines 2 , if your looking for great 2 player games and having fun for very little money then invest in a multi mega (the machine wasn't cheap but the games are great value on ebay).Lire l'avis complet...
