Perfect for Practicing Quietly

This little device is great for when you need to practice quietly. Everything stays in tune but the strings are muffled so that they don't ring out loudly.

It is very easy to use. Just slide it under the strings and place it next to the bridge. The additional strips can be added if you need to increase the height of the device so that it touches the strings to dampen them.

Outstanding!

I have been playing the guitar for 8 years. Spanish and Flamenco are two of my favorite genres to play. Highly recommended, the string mute has helped improve much better and faster on my tremolos and rasqueados!

Good practice tool

Works as designed and stated. Mutes the strings on my classical and flamenco guitars. Articulation is very prominent with the strings muted, can really focus on nail/finger placement, and finesse string attack/release. Does the job, the downside is you need to be careful when applying or removing as the material looks and feels vulnerable.

Lightweight, versatile, adjustable and easy to use.

This is a great idea for any classical guitarist. You can vary the amount you desire to muffle the sound for whatever reason you might have in mind whether to practice scales, rasgueados, tremelo, pieces of music you are trying to learn......you name it. The good part is that YOU can still hear your work accurately but others around you are not being disturbed listening to you practice repeatedly.
