    Back in 1973 Tom and I met in Manitou Springs Colorado. I grew up in Manitou which is an artisan community both than and now. My husband fell in love with Manitou and we opened our first store in an old spa building which had natural spring waters that people would come from all over the country to experience the healing benefits. About a year later we were able to move up to Manitou Avenue in the heart of the artisan community. It is here I began to make necklaces and earrings that would compliment the Native American Jewelry we carried in our store. Some 45 years later I have the privilege of making necklaces with stones and beads from all over the world, keeping in mind the colors and textures of our beloved Colorado.Recently our daughter Rachel began working with us in creating jewelry. I have found she will put colors and patterns together that I would have never tried, but they work,giving our jewelry and addition and fresh new look.
