  I wrote up the broken dish to profit and loss . The box itself was not damaged and the items in the box were apparently insured through a third insurer , not through the USPS . Had the items been insured through USPS the box would have been marked fragile as other sellers I ve done business with have done . The seller wants a positive rating , so be it . I will not be doing business with this seller again . Thank you .

  In my experience the third party insurance I use is far better than USPS insurance. USPS has been requiring the buyer bring the items to a post office for an inspection when a claim is filed. I feel that is unnecessary, so I absorb the cost of the third party insurance as a benefit to my buyers. While marking boxes as "fragile" might make recipients feel better, it doesn't guarantee special handling or prevent damage during USPS transit.

  This seller is outstanding! The USPS made a shipping error but the seller stayed on top of it. When the package arrived it was perfectly wrapped. Item was exactly as described.

  I was so happy to find this item here on eBay. I’ve been searching for years to get the matching one to the one my husband purchased for me when we first got married!
