I might not call the condition "like new", but the book was in really good shape. I don't expect perfection in a used paperback anyway, and the few minor defects which existed were depicted and also noted by the seller in the description. The seller packaged the book in a plastic envelope with a cardboard sheath, and sent in a sturdy cardboard envelope to protect against damage in the mail.

Long transit time I've come to expect from ebay's global shipping programme (US to UK via Germany - takes 2 weeks or so for items to leave US) but this is no reflection on the sender who dispatched the item promptly and whose all round service is first class. Would happily do business again.
