Boosts a few dB but with limited useful range
Box states that outside signal dbm determines the inside boost result. True, and -110 signal level (approx one or two bars) boosted by this unit will provide somewhat improved signal within a range of about 100-150 square feet of the inside antenna -- but inconsistently. ie, with such a signal, the unit's boost range is only about 10 to 15' in any direction away from the (inside) booster antenna. My booster got very hot with time and performance dropped off significantly. In all fairness the company indicated the booster was faulty so I returned it. Works very well indeed
What's to say? Installed the antenna on one side of the house outside pointing a random direction and attached it to new and existing co-ax RG-6 cable, attached that to the booster inside and put the internal antenna on a shelf. Boosts my signal 2-3 bars.
Compact unit. Everything you need included. Multiple repeater antennae mounting options. Nice feature was being able to mount the repeater antennae inside the house on interior surface of window with included suction-cup mount. Unit boosts MY cell signal from 1-2 bars to 3-4. Note that my nearest cell tower is behind a mountain from my house. Range of interior antennae (little black tower shown on product picture) is limited to one room in my case. Unit even worked well from my RV mounted on a pole pointed toward nearest cell site. far from any cell site. Waiting for spring

Just what the dead spot needed
We put hased this unit after searching high and low for a unit which could increase the strength of the signal in nearby cell towers. Our provider is Cricket Wireless which is owned by AT&T. Our condo is in the middle of the city and 5 towers are within a couple of blocks. But the walls here are poured concrete, and not a lot of windows since we are right by the elevator and stairs. Definitely made my service better
Cell service was pathetic at my home and my phone was pretty much useless unless I was by a certain window or if I crawled out the windows and sat on the house roof. Now I can sit in the comfort of my home and use my phone. The one thing I wish was different on it is that all the wires would enter the bottom. This Thing ROCKS!!!
Living in the low signal boonies of TN on the Norris Lake my signal was very weak, this is the fix. My T-Mo now has 5 bars where it was none, The only problem I have which,, I had heard prior to purchase, is that Sprint data wont come thru the weboost. I have been considering moving awa from Sprint anyway.. But, then, T-Mo and Sprint will most likely merge, and that will eventually rectify the problem..ATT, Tmo, verizon signals are no 4 and 5 bars on the phones that come in and out of my house.. Works well. Pricey but worth it.
