    restores the caretaker to like new function. easy DIY

    This is the authentic rebuild kit and all parts fit perfectly. go to yooutube for inastructional videos. Not difficult at all. get the silicone lube for the gaskets. only hard thing for me waas the metal band/strap that holds the upper and lower together. the whole thing took an hours or so. unit works perfectly again. MUCH cheaper than replacing the unit and works like new

    Easy Peasy

    My pool is vintage (1994), this is the second time the valves have been rebuilt. The first was by my pool guy who I only have out 3-4 times a year. He charged over $250 about 8-10 years ago. It was easy peasy changing the valves out, only took about 30-35 minutes. Excellent value

    Works like a charm.

    This product was all inclusive and very easy to install. Followed directions and once installed and filter of pool cleaned it was amazing. Pool filter has to be cleaned for part to work properly.

    Fixed my 2005 Polaris Caretaker

    Not hard to fix at all. Need some silicone lube for the o-rings. Youtube has good videos. Makes a really bad grinding sound starting up because of the air in the system. Apparently that is normal. Wasn't aware and took all apart to verify.

    Caretaker 5 Port Valve Rebuild Kit

    The kit includes excellent instructions for dismantling and reassembly with new parts. All needed parts are included. The best that can be said is that the in-floor Polaris Caretaker cleaning system works perfectly again.

    A great buy.

    The two local pool stores wanted $110 and $125 for this same $60 rebuild kit. The installation went well and I know have pop up cleaners that are working again.
