    When You Really Need to Know...

    Level Bars on Cellphones are worthless for setting up a home, or business, repeater system (Booster). The apps for dBm level meters are better, however they don't address the different 2G, 3G, 4G LTE and Verizon's AWS bands. They only check the level of one band. This meter covers all frequencies between 728-894 MHz, and 1930-2155 MHz in 1 MHz steps, as well as Band Measurements for bands 12, 13, and 17 LTE; Channel A and B, Tx and Rx bands; Channel A - G PCS bands; and Channel A - F AWS bands. By using the SMA antenna connector real measurements made be made on the actual antenna placed in various locations, and finding the best direction to point a Yagi, or other directional, antenna. If you install more than one of these repeater systems per year buy it to keep. If this is a one time project keep the meter and all its accessories looking like new, and resell it once your project is complete.

    Good tool

    This really helps aim the antenna, I have only one tower for miles and it is 1 mile from my location so I know where it is but the trees block my view and I thought it was close enough but after using this the boosted signal inside is better.
