EV-DO Rev A has slightly faster downlink and uplink speeds, which means you are able to access things just a bit faster than on other phones. There appears to be a problem with the charger
I purchased this for my 85 yr dad as it is the same phone he is used to using. It arrived promptly and all seemed well; however, my dad contacted me and stated that the phone charger isn't working. Since he live in another state, I told him to get a charger from a local store. Hopefully, that works for him. If it weren't for the charging issue, I would have given the phone 5 stars. Good buy
Phone looks good, in good working order & had no problem getting it activated. For a sturdy reliable basic phone for calls & texts, this is great. Haven't had long enough to be sure of the battery but so far good.
