    Great function at a great price

    I bought this for a rewebbing project using Pirelli reinforced rubber webbing. I tried to cut the webbing to the exact size needed but occasionally I was slightly too short. With these pliers I was able to grasp and stretch the webbing enough to reach the attachment point. I could never have obtained a firm non-damaging grasp on the webbing with regular pliers. Also the 'hammer' part of the pliers allowed me to exert extra leverage when stretching. The width and 'teeth' were perfect for this use. Using these pliers saved me from wasting the expensive webbing if cut too short. Well made cast iron painted black. Significantly cheaper than a similar product made by a famous leather tool company. I cant imagine the expensive brand would have worked any better. Very happy with my purchase and project.

    Good value for the money

    These pliers are great if you don't do a lot of canvassing. I liked the wider head which gave a firm grip on the canvas.
